Education
WGEP broadens ACCESS to quality education through scholarships, learning resources, literacy programs, and mentorship, helping girls in rural communities stay in school and thrive. By building KNOWLEDGE, confidence, and opportunity, education empowers learners to create brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Women's Health
WGEP advances women’s health by expanding access to REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH education, preventing GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE, promoting MENTAL WELLNESS, and working to END FGM. Through safe spaces, education, and survivor support, women and girls gain knowledge and confidence to make decisions about their health and futures.

Leadership
WGEP cultivates leadership by helping ADOLESCENT GIRLS build confidence, strengthen their voices, and develop skills in public speaking, advocacy, conflict resolution, and community organizing. Through mentorship, POSITIVE MASCULINITY, and youth-led CLIMATE ACTION, young people put these skills into practice and foster more equitable, resilient, and sustainable communities.

Community Engagement
WGEP strengthens community engagement through COMMUNITY ACTION VOLUNTEERS, parent and community meetings, and SPECIAL EVENTS that bring people together around girls’ education, health, and climate action. These efforts encourage local participation, shared responsibility, and lasting community-led change.

Climate Action
WGEP equips girls, women, and youth to lead CLIMATE ACTION through community cleanups, mangrove restoration, climate-smart cookstoves, and PUBLIC RADIO campaigns. These efforts build more RESILIENT and SUSTAINABLE communities. By connecting education with environmental action, young people become leaders in protecting their communities and futures.

Digital Literacy
WGEP advances digital literacy for women and girls in the most rural communities, helping them navigate a CONNECTED world. Through libraries, ICT centers, and WhatsApp groups, girls access learning and trusted information, including adolescent and reproductive health resources—helping them become more LITERATE, informed, and connected.

Financial Inclusion
WGEP expands adult literacy beyond reading and writing to include budgeting, saving, financial tools, and entrepreneurship. Through women’s groups and businesses such as BASKET WEAVING, participants gain the confidence to generate income, strengthen their livelihoods, and build FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE.

Capacity Building
WGEP invests in LOCAL PARTNERS through training, organizational systems, financial management, data collection, and communications. These investments support stronger, more SUSTAINABLE programs. By building long-term capacity, partners can better respond to community needs and expand their impact.
