Event overview

The 2026 Ndajee event was a tremendous success, bringing together supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and advocates who share a belief in the power of education and leadership. Emceed by WGEP Board Member Alex Mbuthia, the evening featured inspiring stories, delicious food and drinks, vibrant cultural performances, a silent auction, paddle raise, and great conversations about the future of girls' education and climate leadership. Later in the evening, Leslie Alvarez and Jerome McDonnell led an energized paddle raise in support of scholarships, literacy initiatives, leadership programs, climate education, and resources for girls and young women. Thanks to the generosity of our community, Ndajee 2026 raised $318,673 toward our $350,000 goal to support WGEP's programs in Kenya and Senegal. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and supported this event. Together, we are helping create opportunities for girls to learn, lead, and thrive!
