Donate at any level
A donation of $25 can provide a girl with after-school tutoring for a
month; $300 provides a year-long scholarship to an elementary or
secondary scholar; $1,000 provides tutoring, mentoring and other
support activities to a class of 20 girls to help them stay in school.
Or, consider donating your tax refund. At whatever level you choose, your support will help Women’s Global
provide opportunities for education to girls in developing nations to
help them build a brighter future!
Become a Class Sponsor
Class Sponsors make a commitment to fund a scholarship—tuition, fees,
supplies, and room and board--for one of our secondary school scholars
through the completion of her education. Pledge $300 annually for a
minimum of three years. Keep in mind that a book club, a church group
or a bowling team can become sponsors as well as individuals. Contact us for more information.
How to Donate
Women’s Global Education Project is a public charity with 501(c)(3)
status. This means your contribution is tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Your contribution supports all Women’s Global programs, devoting funds where they are needed most.
To maximize your contribution, ask your employer if they will match your gift to us!

Send out solicitation letters
Write to your family and friends to tell them about Women’s Global, and ask them to get involved and/or donate! Click here
to see a sample letter that you can copy and paste into a letter or
email to get you started. Be sure to add personal touches like how you
heard about Women’s Global, what draws you to our program, why you
think it’s important to get involved, what education means to you, etc.

Volunteer for Women’s’ Global
Join
one of our fundraising strategy planning committees (individual giving,
major gifts, annual fundraisers, corporations and foundations, etc.),
volunteer for our annual fundraising events in the fall, help with
translation services (French), etc. Please email us at info@womensglobal.org to find out about volunteer opportunities.
Internship Opportunities
Women's Global offers unpaid internship opportunities to undergraduate,
graduate and post-graduate students who want to learn more about
nonprofit management, the issues of global poverty and girls'
education, and the Chicago global development community. Click here to

Host a mini-fundraiser for Women’s Global
There
are many "small" ways you as an individual, a group, or a small
business can help fundraise for Women's Global such as hosting a house
party, having a garage sale or participating in a local race on behalf of Women's Global. Click

Host a Tea Party Angels tea party for Women’s Global
WGEP is proud to partner with Tea Party Angels, a national fundraising program that encourage girls to
host tea parties in their homes to raise money for girls' education
